The Geographic Data team plays a vital role in the company's success, providing exceptional demographics and market study services. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst. Job Summary The Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing geographic data for assigned areas, designing computer-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local Dealmakers. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with regional Dealmakers, agents of blithequark, and other vendors. Key Responsibilities: • Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned regions using MapInfo as requested by regional Dealmakers. • Process requests and orders directly from blithequark Operations for market strategy guides and display materials. • Perform various project-specific tasks, including research and data representation as assigned. • Provide administrative support to regional Dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative requirements as requested. • Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and scheduling, ensuring all office equipment, ensuring PCs are working correctly, filing, booking deliveries, and ordering office supplies. Requirements: Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or related field). • General knowledge of geographic data systems. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency in MapInfo. • Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic data systems.
