Summary: Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of two days per week, with one 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and one 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Responsibilities: Greets patients and visitors. Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls. Emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
