The Airport Customer Experience Specialist is the frontline ambassador of arenaxflex’s brand promise. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Interaction: Greet, assist, and resolve inquiries for passengers, airline staff, and other stakeholders in a courteous, knowledgeable, and proactive manner.
- Operational Coordination: Review daily work sheets, adapt to real‑time changes in the operating environment, and execute the 4‑day forecast plan to minimize disruptions and enhance the passenger journey.
- Inter‑Department Collaboration: Partner with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Airport Operations Center (AOC), Terminal Services Council (TSC), Emergency Operations Center (EOC), airlines, and Customs & Border Protection (CBP) during routine operations and emergency incidents such as accidents, elevator or SkyLink entrapments, and security events.
- Information Dissemination: Provide accurate, up‑to‑date information on arenaxflex services, amenities, concessions, airline schedules, and self‑service kiosks, ensuring travelers make informed decisions.
- Special Event Support: Coordinate terminal tours, media events, military service member support (USO), SkyLink interruptions, and unique airline initiatives like the “Snowball Express” to deliver memorable experiences.
- Comprehensive Service Coverage: Perform customer experience duties across public spaces, airline gates, security checkpoints, concessions, CBP areas, custodial and maintenance zones, and terminal construction projects.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete activity logs, status reports, and performance metrics that feed into arenaxflex’s continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
- Physical Presence: Conduct regular walkthroughs of terminal areas, ensuring visibility, accessibility, and readiness to assist passengers at any point of need.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years proven experience in a direct customer‑service role, preferably within a high‑traffic, fast‑paced environment such as aviation, hospitality, or retail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality, tourism, or related fields are a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 lb repeatedly over a distance of approximately 500 feet, and occasional lifting or pushing of up to 50 lb.
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
