Who We Want Conduct investment due diligence on private market and alternative investment managers. Analyze portfolio construction, risk management, and performance attribution across a range of private asset classes. Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present findings to internal committees to support investment decision-making. Maintain relationships with external managers and due diligence providers while monitoring market trends impacting alternative investment strategies. • Investment Due Diligence: Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence on investment managers across private real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and other private asset classes. Evaluate management teams, investment strategies, operational structure, and risk considerations. Review and assess reports produced by third-party due diligence providers. • Performance & Risk Analysis: Analyze manager portfolio construction, attribution, and risk statistics to evaluate alignment with the stated investment process. Assess historical return profiles and evaluate drivers of performance across varying market environments. • Comparative Market Research: Perform comparative analysis across peer groups within private markets and hedge funds. Monitor market developments and trends that may impact traditional and alternative investment strategies. • Manager Engagement & Evaluation: Conduct initial and follow-up calls with investment managers and participate in onsite due diligence meetings. Evaluate manager capabilities, operational practices, and long-term strategy viability. • Reporting & Committee Support: Prepare written due diligence reports summarizing research findings and investment considerations. Present analysis and recommendations to internal product approval committees and investment due diligence committees. • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with external managers, platform sponsors, and third-party due diligence vendors. Coordinate information requests and maintain documentation related to manager evaluations. • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives. What You Need   •Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. • Minimum of five years of experience in private markets or alternative investment due diligence required. • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills required. • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. • Ability to conduct independent research and synthesize complex investment information required. Preferred Education and Experience - Experience evaluating private equity, private real estate, hedge funds, or other alternative investment strategies preferred. - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with investment managers, advisors, and stakeholders preferred. - CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation preferred.   EEO Statement: In exchange for your expertise, we offer a base salary, bonus potential, 401(k) plus matching, health benefits, and a great working environment.
