Job Summary
Client's Network Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Aviatrix, automation (Terraform), and multi-cloud networking. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud networking, as well as traditional routing/switching, network security, and automation tools. In this role, you will architect, build, automate, and manage Rubrik's Global Network Infrastructure. You'll collaborate with a talented team on cutting-edge projects within TechOps Infrastructure, delivering an optimized, scalable, and secure global network.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and support hybrid network infrastructure across on-premises and multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
• Ensure network stability, performance, and availability for enterprise and cloud environments.
• Manage and support routing, switching, and network security technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Automate network operations using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Actively participate in on-call rotation for timely support and resolution of network issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions.
Mandatory Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, with expertise in network architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); cloud certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP/MBGP), VPN, IPv4/IPv6, VxLAN, and L2/L3 networking.
• Strong knowledge of routing & switching (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Meraki, Nexus, Mellanox, Cumulus).
• Experience with network security technologies: Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, 802.1x, VPN technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with Aviatrix for multi-cloud networking.
• Strong automation skills with Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Public Cloud Network Certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of data center, campus, and global WAN connectivity.
