As a Claims Service Representative, you will support operations by assisting clients with their health and wellness benefits inquiries, managing claims processes, and ensuring excellent service to maintain strong relationships with clients and service teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather claim information related to health and wellness benefits
- Assist clients and members with their inquiries and coverage questions
- Answer incoming client calls to assist members with utilizing their benefits
- Begin the intake process to assist with claims and billing issues
- Gather necessary documentation
- Update members on their claim status
- Collaborate with Claims Consultants to resolve any issues that arise
Skills
- Strong knowledge of software systems, including Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
- Experience in customer service or addressing claims inquiries
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- BA/BS degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Life & Health license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
