About the position
We are currently looking to add a Corporate Banking Analyst to our Native American Financial Services Team. Native American Financial Services provides corporate and investment banking services to Native American tribes and their business enterprises. Analyst/Associates at KBCM act as the primary day-to-day leaders for analytical support, including financial statement analysis and model development; valuation analysis; industry research; and the preparation of various presentations, pitch books, and documents including descriptive memoranda, management presentations, new business, etc. Associates interact with other bankers and clients, Associates play a crucial role in helping managing transactions and interface directly in the client relationship process.
Responsibilities
• Work with corporate bankers and investment bankers and product partners on strategic corporate finance and capital raising transactions
• Generate ideas and analytical materials in support of new client meetings
• Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and leveraged buy-out analysis
• Develop presentation materials for topics such as company positioning and financing alternatives, and strawman acquisition scenarios
• Develop knowledge of relevant information resources: Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Thomson Financial
• Continually build knowledge and capabilities within the industry segment and stay abreast of competitive trends.
• Assist with attracting a quality workforce, i.e. college recruiting activities.

Requirements
• Undergraduate Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Economics.)
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis
• Strong quantitative and communication skills
• Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude and desire to be part of a close-knit group operating in an intensive and challenging work environment
• Excellent organization and research skills
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• FINRA License S79 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
• FINRA License S63 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
• FINRA License S52 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
