Cost Accountant - Poppi

Overview This role will help build out the cost accounting department to meet the needs of poppi's current growth trajectory, including the addition of new co-manufacturer & 3PL locations, increased production, and greater sales volumes Responsibilities • Conduct periodic reconciliations between internal ERP system and third-party reported inventory levels. • Investigate inventory discrepancies (found through reconciliations or ad hoc review) and collaborate with other departments to align systematic inventory with actuals. • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. • Post physical inventory adjustments and journal entries within the ERP system. • Support and participate in physical count audits as needed. • Perform costing analysis and identify systematic costing errors. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. • Generate required reporting or documentation for internal and external audits. • Contribute to special projects as required. Compensation and Benefits: • The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850. • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably with a high-growth CPG brand. • Experience with inventory reconciliations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (NetSuite and/or SAP preferred). • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while presenting information and managing internal & external relationships. • Prior experience working with co-manufacturing and 3PL partners is a plus. • Familiarity with weighted-average costing is a plus. >
