A Day in the Life of a Data Entry Specialist As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order management process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Processing orders and verifying pricing and availability. Typing accurately, preparing, and maintaining order documents and records. Communicating with vendors to ensure orders are allocated promptly and correctly. Obtaining shipping quotes, preparing shipping instructions (BOLs), and scheduling pick-up for ready orders. Reconciling open and closed orders in a timely manner. Researching, tracking, and restoring documentation when problems or discrepancies arise, including lost orders and production delays. Informing management and compiling reports/summaries on activity areas. Functioning in accordance with established standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities To succeed in this role, you'll need to: Possess excellent data entry and word processing skills. Be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
