Your key responsibilities will include: Welcome clients and guide them through the tagging and luggage registration process Utilize a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets Manage the registration process, ensuring that clients have the necessary documentation for travel Label luggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving luggage from scales to transport lines Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure Vision and Mission At Delta, our vision is to deliver A-list service to all clients, making every customer feel like the most valued individual. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A high school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work consistently in open areas and respond to various questions regarding travel information Basic computer skills and ability to use a computer to assist clients with seat availability, door announcements, flight status, checking and handling luggage, and managing the boarding process Strong verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, tone, and pronunciation Ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and Spanish, both written and spoken Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be an asset in this role: Bachelor's degree in a related field Previous experience in customer service or a related field Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Basic knowledge of airline operations and procedures Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Delta Airlines, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
