Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive proposals for substation projects, collaborating closely with project teams, engineering staff, and clients.
- Perform top‑down estimating and full creation of substation proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Review project scope documents, drawings, and specifications to identify critical requirements and risks.
- Communicate effectively with clients - confidently representing technical information and answering detailed questions.
- Assist with day‑to‑day estimating activities to manage a high volume of incoming proposal requests.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of bids and proposals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of substation design, equipment, and construction practices.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes.
Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating, engineering, or related technical roles within substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of substation systems, including civil, structural, electrical, and protection & control components.
