**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* **Customer Experience:**
+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
* **Operations:**
+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.
+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
+ Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
+ Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
* **Visual Merchandising:**
+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
+ Complete resets and revisions as directed.
* **Photo Services:**
+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
+ Suggestively sell promotional photo products.
* **Web Pick-up:**
+ Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders (pick items), and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
* **Store Maintenance:**
+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
* **Training & Personal Development:**
+ Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
* Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
