**Job Description**
As a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside to assess customer storage needs and make suggestions for packing and moving supplies
* Conducting daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent
* Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits as part of the daily business
* Helping customers stay current with payments and making reminder and collection calls when required
* Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectations
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
**Physical Requirements**
As a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager, you'll need to be able to:
* Transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
* Spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
* Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Experience in customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
* A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for traveling between work locations and conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A strong customer service focus, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
* Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and make bank deposits
