**Job Summary**
As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you'll be responsible for processing customs clearance for our clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You'll work closely with our internal teams, clients, and government agencies to provide exceptional service and support. This is a remote data entry position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders
* Process customs clearance for clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including customs documentation and PGA (Participating Government Agency) filings
* Work closely with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve any issues or concerns related to customs clearance
* Process organization financier shipments and handle distant filings as needed
* Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed, and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines is maintained
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., international trade, logistics, business administration)
* No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent required; HS Certificate or GED preferred
* Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volumes of work
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
* Ability to use various systems and reference materials
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in customs clearance, international trade, or logistics
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, including PGA filings and customs documentation
* Experience working with various systems and software, including MS Office and Viewpoint
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
