You'll lead a team of senior client managers and be responsible for growing American Express revenue by establishing mutually beneficial, profitable, and long-lasting relationships with merchant accounts. Your team will be accountable for delivering valuable, innovative insights and solutions to our clients across a diverse range of companies. **Key Responsibilities** As a Director of Account Development and Client Management, you'll be responsible for: * Leading a team of 5 senior client managers and helping them manage, deepen, and improve relationships with 400+ respected brands * Developing, leading, and motivating a top-performing team to retain and drive incremental business (B2B and B2C) by growing revenue and improving share * Cultivating a culture of learning, strong challenger coaching skills, and consultative relationship management * Leading your team in maintaining and strengthening arenaflex's business by showcasing value, growing revenue, improving share, and increasing profitability * Embracing the fast-changing payments landscape and keeping current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * Partnering with internal colleagues to seek out and develop partnership and marketing assets that will be relevant to your customer base * Modeling key sales behaviors/skills and balancing deal and skill coaching * Increasing Merchant Satisfaction and maximizing profits with an enterprise approach **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A strong track record of leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions * A deep understanding of the payments landscape and the ability to stay current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, with a focus on driving revenue growth and improving share * A strong ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team, with a focus on building a culture of learning and collaboration **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on payments and merchant services * A strong understanding of the American Express business and its products and services * Experience in developing and implementing partnership and marketing strategies, with a focus on driving revenue growth and improving share * A strong ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement **Skills and Competencies** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions * A deep understanding of the payments landscape and the ability to stay current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, with a focus on driving revenue growth and improving share * A strong ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team, with a focus on building a culture of learning and collaboration **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our colleagues.
