As a Ticket/Gate Agent LOD Spanish, you'll be part of a diverse and inclusive team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ticket/Gate Agent LOD Spanish, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our passengers, ensuring that their travel experience is smooth, pleasant, and memorable. Your key responsibilities will include: * Greeting customers, guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process, and providing assistance with travel documentation * Using computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process * Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts * Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors * Assisting customers with seat availability, making gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process * Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to pass standardized language assessments both verbal and written * Consistently prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data * Embracing a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles * Possessing a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency * Being at least 18 years of age and having authorization to work in the United States * Must be proficient in English * Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation * Possessing basic computer skills * Must successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment * Frequently lifting bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds * Occasionally lifting bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Being willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Passing a physical ability test (PAT) * Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * Previous ticketing experience * Familiarity with airport operations and customer service procedures * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Experience working with diverse customer groups and populations **Benefits and Perks** As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and perks that will help you grow, develop, and thrive in your career.
