**Key Responsibilities**
As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Your primary objectives will be to:
* Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs in a professional and courteous manner.
* Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of consumers, ensuring they have sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance.
* Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs.
* Make recommendations and/or changes to policies, gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes.
* Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service.
* Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies.
* Process changes to policies within EPIC, submit changes to specific companies, and follow up to ensure timely processing.
* Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims.
* Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure timely return.

**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment.
* Property and Casualty insurance license required.
* Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
