Description • As the Founding Recruiter for Fractional AI's new enterprise division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by building the foundational engineering talent that drives our bespoke generative AI solutions. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of establishing a new division within a profitable and rapidly growing startup, with the stability and resources of an established company. • Your primary responsibility will be to attract, evaluate, and onboard elite full-stack engineers who are critical to delivering exceptional AI software to our enterprise clients. You will be instrumental in defining and executing our recruitment strategy for the next 100 hires, ensuring we maintain our high standards for talent. • You will be tasked with leaving no stone unturned in your sourcing efforts. This includes designing and executing creative outbound email campaigns, leveraging professional networks, attending industry events, and exploring innovative channels to identify top-tier engineering talent. Your proactive approach will be key to building a robust pipeline. • A significant part of your role will involve partnering closely with candidates throughout their entire recruitment journey. From the initial contact and screening calls to managing interviews, facilitating feedback, extending offers, and navigating negotiations, you will ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience. • You will deeply understand candidate motivations, career aspirations, and technical capabilities, ensuring a strong alignment with both the role requirements and Fractional AI's culture and vision. • This position offers significant autonomy to design and implement an AI-augmented, data-driven, and inclusive recruiting process. You will need to grasp technical concepts to effectively assess candidates and communicate with hiring managers. • You will be expected to bring a data-driven approach to problem-solving, consistently running experiments, measuring the impact of new recruitment strategies, and iterating based on performance metrics. • Unrelenting reliability and a meticulous attention to detail are paramount. You will be responsible for managing multiple hiring processes simultaneously, ensuring that no critical tasks are overlooked and that the recruitment pipeline remains healthy and efficient. • A core philosophy of building leverage will guide your work. You will actively seek opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, implement scalable solutions, and utilize AI tools to augment your effectiveness, allowing you to focus on high-impact activities. • You will collaborate closely with the General Manager of the Enterprise division to align on critical hiring priorities and strategic workforce planning. • Your initial 30 days will involve immersing yourself in the business, understanding the strategic goals of the enterprise division, and immediately jumping into outbound sourcing for key founding roles. • You will contribute to brainstorming sessions and implement improvements to our existing hiring processes, ensuring they are optimized for speed, quality, and candidate experience. • You will actively participate in bringing candidates through the full interview cycle, from initial screens to final onsite assessments. • A key early milestone will be extending your first offer to a new team member. • You will also engage with the broader Fractional AI culture, participating in AI lunch and learns, monthly happy hours, and project-sharing sessions to foster a strong sense of community and shared learning. • This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge, is motivated by building something from the ground up, and is passionate about the intersection of AI and business transformation. • You will be part of a team that overdelivers for clients by enabling the best engineers to thrive in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. • The focus is on building an engineering-first culture, which means holding a very high bar for talent and ensuring that every hire contributes to our collective success. • This is a hands-on, build-what-you-need role, perfect for a proactive individual who enjoys creating solutions and driving results.
