Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Guidewire Developer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Guidewire applications for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and other developers to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications for our clients
- Collaborate with project managers and other developers to gather requirements and create technical designs
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug applications to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Guidewire technologies and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Communicate project status and progress to project managers and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience developing Guidewire applications
- Strong understanding of Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter
- Proficient in Java and other programming languages
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget
