Role Description
The Research Budget Analyst is responsible for development, negotiations and finalization of research budgets, including research coverage analysis. This individual will input data into the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and including post award management.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or other related field required.
• Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Regulations, IRB requirements and submissions.
• 3-5 years experience in medical billing or research budget negotiation.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software, preferably clinical trial management system (CTMS).

• Good command of the English language; second language is an asset but not required.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
