Role Summary As a B2B Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, closing SMB and mid-market clients, and supporting enterprise sales efforts through strategic outreach and follow-ups. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a frictionless client experience across the funnel. This is a quota-carrying role that requires a bias for action, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build trust and urgency in client conversations. Key Responsibilities - Pipeline Generation - Identify, research, and qualify prospects through outbound calls, email, and social selling - Execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) sequences for target segments - Manage and prioritize lead pipelines using HubSpot CRM - Sales Execution - Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and follow-ups with qualified leads - Craft proposals and close deals with SMB and mid-market accounts - Collaborate with the Sales Lead on strategic accounts and partner opportunities - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Feed client feedback into Product and Marketing teams - Support pricing conversations with Finance and Operations - Coordinate with Customer Success for seamless onboarding - Metrics & Reporting - Meet or exceed monthly KPIs (meetings booked, deals closed, MRR growth) - Maintain clean CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility - Report regularly on deal progression, objections, and conversion trends Who You Are - Experience & Skills - 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise tech - Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quotas - Experience using CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and outreach tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Mindset & Traits - Curious, coachable, and committed to learning - Action-oriented with strong execution discipline - Entrepreneurial thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments - Highly organized with excellent follow-through - Bonus Points For - Exposure to financial services, RegTech, or digital onboarding/KYC - Experience in a startup or high-growth environment - Familiarity with compliance-driven or risk-based sales cycles Why Join Akiba Digital? - Make a measurable impact in shaping Africas digital financial infrastructure - Work with a talented, mission-driven team that values speed, integrity, and excellence - Remote-first work culture with high ownership and autonomy - Growth path into Enterprise Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success Ready to Join Our Team?
