They are seeking a Junior Attorney to handle client intake calls and related tasks, with the opportunity for growth and increased responsibility within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and scheduled calls with potential and newly onboarded clients to assess cases, answer legal questions, address relevant matters
- Commitment to providing empathetic and professional service to clients
- Assisting and collaborating with multiple teams in an effective and timely manner to troubleshoot issues, achieve favorable outcomes, etc
- Ensure accurate documentation of client information in the firm’s systems
- Provide updates, support, feedback, and attend meetings when necessary
- Consult and troubleshoot supervising attorneys when appropriate
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing client onboarding process
- Performs other duties as assigned to support departmental needs and objectives
Skills
- Juris Doctorate required
- Barred & in good standing in NY required
- Client or customer service experience (within any industry) required
- Ability to take feedback and open to being coached required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities required
- Organized, strategic, decisive and results-oriented minded required
- Proficiency in client management systems and legal documentation required
- Ability to manage competing priorities, often within tight deadlines required
- Adaptable and able to manage change required
- Other state or federal licensures a plus
- Drafting experience strongly preferred
- Litigation experience preferred
- Managerial experience preferred
