The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Strength in cold calls, market research and competitive analysis, account mapping, effectively qualifying while forecasting future opportunities, negotiate and close contracts.
- Self-motivated and organized with excellent time management skills
- Confident self-starter and proven ability to build relationship.
- Ability to collaborate with customers to understand their business objectives and work closely with sales and operations team to translate those needs into viable product/solution requirements.
- Desire and ability to maintain a competitive edge, be upbeat, outgoing, driven, and have a strong work ethic.
- Able to work remotely.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for achieving new accounts with key focus to identify, qualify, and solicit new business. Through strategic selling skills, profile, define and build potential accounts and drive customer loyalty by delivering excellent customer service.
- Identify decision makers and build relationships with them.
- Increasing business with our existing customer base within the residential housing market.
- Performing prospecting and lead generating activities.
- Acquiring new accounts via prospecting and education of referring partners.
- Visiting apartment communities to enhance relationships and build new business.
- Act as liaison between Fashion and the customer when questions and issues arise.
- Attend industry events representing Fashion. Events may occur in the evening hours.
- Assist with lead generating activities (tradeshows, events, etc.) at networking functions and assist with networking activities and associations.
- Ensure current marketing materials are available and displayed.
- Perform semi-annual free model “physical inventories.”
- Assist with the training of new marketing programs in the field.
- Follow-up with Customer Care on all outstanding quotes and internet leads.
- Maintain effective communications with Customer Care, project management, warehouse and corporate office staff. Provide all information necessary to ensure effective and accurate processing of client orders and other requests.
Qualifications:
- Successful track record in consultative sales with strong prospecting, negotiating, and closing abilities.
- A professional image with solid listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand the importance of the partnership between customer care and sales.
- The ability to build long lasting client relationships, understanding the importance of Customer Service.
- High energy with a passion for relationship building and lead generation
- Must have great communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Office
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of strong outside sales experience/account management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent Follow up and follow through skills
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with CRM
Location:
- Bay Area, California Remote
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 DOE plus a commission/incentive plan tied to performance.
