About the position
The Logistics Analyst Senior at GDIT plays a crucial role in supporting customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various logistics activities. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective procurement, inventory management, and coordination of logistics operations to protect government equities and enhance mission capabilities.
Responsibilities
• Support customer logistics requirements through analysis and planning.
• Purchase materials and services; coordinate transportation of materials and personnel.
• Maintain inventories of goods and materials; coordinate office moves and renovations.
• Initiate and manage packet-device procurements for projects.
• Perform property accountability and auditability actions according to regulations.
• Plan and conduct property inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management and Communications for computer movement and connections.
Requirements
• 5+ years of related experience in logistics.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical skills in ASCENT, Genesis, and Hammerhead.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
