Payroll Specialist (Independent Contractor) – Florida We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our payroll operations as an independent contractor. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with U.S. federal and Florida regulations. Key Responsibilities • Process payroll (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly) • Review and validate timesheets and payroll data • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and commissions • Manage payroll changes (new hires, terminations, salary updates) • Handle tax withholdings and payroll-related deductions • Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes (W-2 / 1099) • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies Requirements • Proven experience with U.S. payroll processing • Knowledge of Federal and Florida payroll regulations • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality • Ability to work independently and manage payroll cycles If you are interested, please share your resume to be considered for the role.
