Why Join arenaflex?
At arenaflex, we are redefining the landscape of health‑care administration by delivering innovative, data‑driven solutions that improve the lives of individuals across Indiana. Our commitment to excellence, compliance, and compassionate service makes us a leader in the Medicaid and long‑term care space. As a remote‑first organization, we empower our talent with flexible work arrangements, cutting‑edge technology, and a culture that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
When you become part of the IN LCAR (Indiana Level of Care Assessment and Referral) program team, you are joining a statewide initiative that directly influences the quality of care for thousands of Hoosiers. Your expertise will help ensure that each assessment is accurate, timely, and aligned with both state and federal regulations, ultimately guiding individuals to the right level of services and support.
About the IN LCAR Program
The IN LCAR program is the backbone of Indiana’s long‑term services and supports (LTSS) system. It evaluates individuals’ health status, living environment, and functional abilities to recommend the most appropriate level of care—whether that be home‑based services, assisted living, or institutional care. By bridging assessment data with referral pathways, the program streamlines transitions, reduces unnecessary hospital readmissions, and enhances overall quality of life for participants.
Position Overview
arenaflex is seeking a diligent, detail‑oriented Remote Clinical Administrator & Data Entry Specialist to support the IN LCAR program. In this hybrid compliance and customer‑service role, you will manage clinical assessments, verify eligibility determinations, and provide expert guidance to assessors and multidisciplinary care teams. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of the assessment lifecycle, while ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA, Medicaid, and state regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Data Integrity & Entry: Perform high‑volume data entry with exceptional accuracy, resolve data discrepancies, and maintain clean, audit‑ready records in the program’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for assessors, care teams, and external partners, offering guidance on assessment protocols, eligibility criteria, and regulatory updates.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct routine audits of assessment files, flagging non‑conformities and implementing corrective actions to meet Person‑First standards and HIPAA guidelines.
- Referral Coordination: Assign and track referrals for contract work, ensuring that each case is routed to the appropriate service provider in a timely manner.
- Customer Support: Provide responsive, courteous assistance to both internal and external customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall program efficiency through data‑driven insights.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular performance reports, maintain compliance dashboards, and document all activities in accordance with arenaflex’s quality‑assurance protocols.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on Medicaid policies, long‑term care regulations, and emerging best practices in clinical administration.
- Additional Duties: Perform any related tasks assigned by program leadership to support the mission of IN LCAR.
