Pharmacy Technician – Remote Pay Rate: $18.17/hr SCHEDULE Training: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST Regular Shift: Monday – Friday, shifts between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST Start Date: 06/15/2026 JOB DESCRIPTION The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing professional phone support through a criteria-based prior authorization process while ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow in a remote environment. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a productivity-driven setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide professional phone assistance to callers regarding prior authorization requests Process approvals and denials following established criteria and guidelines Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation Perform data entry while navigating multiple systems using dual monitors Handle high-volume workflows while maintaining quality and accuracy Deliver excellent customer service through clear written and verbal communication Work independently to meet productivity and performance metrics REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician in an administrative or support role Active Pharmacy Technician certification or state licensure required Strong computer skills and ability to multitask across multiple systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Fully remote position (must have a dedicated workspace) High-speed internet and reliable equipment required Productivity-driven environment with performance expectations EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required National Pharmacy Technician Certification or state-specific registration/licensure required If you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing . 586-323-4194 |
