SmithPilot specializes in compensation consulting services for nonprofit organizations. We are looking for a Research Associate for projects on a part-time basis.
Position responsibilities:
• Researching compensation and benefits benchmarking data from national and local surveys, publicly available IRS Form 990s, job postings, and other sources
• Evaluating and analyzing market salary data
• Reviewing job descriptions
• Researching geographic differential ranges
• Preparing exhibits of data/research for client delivery
• Other duties as required
Essential Skills:
• Strong Excel skills required; proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with large quantities of data and multiple spreadsheets while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to review and audit data
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Must have the ability to work independently and effectively manage concurrent deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation, benchmarking/market pricing, and data research
This is a part-time, remote, contract position, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week (generally between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Eastern). We offer flexibility and a competitive hourly rate.
