We’re looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to work on web applications and backend systems. The role involves building, maintaining, and improving Rails-based applications with a strong focus on clean architecture, performance, and scalability.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys project-based work but is open to a longer-term relationship if things align.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
Build backend logic, APIs, and system integrations
Work with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Optimize performance, security, and scalability
Collaborate on architecture and feature planning
Debug and resolve application issues
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
Required Skills
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
Solid understanding of MVC architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs
Database design and optimization experience
Familiarity with background jobs and queues
Git-based version control experience
Nice to Have
Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
Experience with API integrations and third-party services
Familiarity with deployment pipelines and cloud environments
Understanding of security best practices
