Senior Data Analyst – (Healthcare for the greater good)

A growing Healthcare “HealthTech” company is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL and statistical skills and the ability to develop advanced analytics using R, Python, SAS and business intelligence tools, Power BI & Tableau.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze healthcare data to better understand and tell the story behind, costs, pricing, and successful treatments being performed today.
• Design and develop custom data processes and workflow tools to build data products.
• Work with end-users to understand their data product needs and facilitate reporting as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of analytics throughout the organization.
• Establish statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.
• Partner with internal business clients to define reporting & dashboard requirements for use in managing day-to-day operations more efficiently.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an analytical, data focused role.
• Strong SQL expertise, including writing queries on 100k+ lines of data, joins, select statements.
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling tools such as (SQL, R, Proc SQL, SAS.)
• Experience with medical claims data, healthcare codes, ICD, CPT, HCPCS, etc..
• Experience and proficiency leveraging SQL, including loading data, writing update and select statements, and joining tables.
• Data Mining, loading data, data validation, joining tables, select statements, etc...
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Fields of study may include Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, MPH, or equivalent work experience.
base salary range: $110-120k plus bonus
