As a UI/UX Designer I, you will shape the look and feel of digital products, create intuitive interfaces, and support user research initiatives to enhance customer interactions with technology.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders and engineering teams
- Support user research initiatives, including usability testing and competitive analysis, to gather insights that drive design improvements
- Utilize and contribute to our design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across various platforms and products
- Participate in design reviews and critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to refine design solutions and ensure high-quality delivery
Skills
- Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a Bachelor's degree program. Relevant fields include: Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field
- A portfolio of work demonstrating a foundational understanding of UI/UX principles, including layout, typography, and user flow
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools, specifically Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end design process, from discovery and ideation to final delivery
- Able to legally live and work in the country for which you're applying, without visa support or sponsorship
- Experience creating interactive prototypes to demonstrate motion, transitions, and functionality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and articulate design decisions and their rationale
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how design specifications translate to front-end development
- Experience conducting or assisting in qualitative user research, interviews, or survey analysis
- Proficiency in AI-assisted prototyping workflows for rapid iteration (e.g. Cursor, Figma Make etc.)
