Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in. The Opportunity We're looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. Reporting to the CTO, you'll be responsible for our Directors of Engineering, Engineering Managers, and the teams they lead. This is a cross-cutting leadership role spanning all of engineering. This is a leadership-focused position. While deep technical expertise is essential for engaging with staff engineers and technical decision-making, the role emphasizes people leadership, organizational design, and delivery excellence over hands-on contribution. What You’ll Do • Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed engineering organization across Europe • Partner with the CTO, Head of Platform, and other leaders to align engineering efforts with company strategy • Collaborate closely with Product to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and delivery • Scale the team thoughtfully: Hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering talent • Establish and refine engineering processes that support a growing organization without creating unnecessary overhead • Bring structure and clarity to task tracking, planning, and delivery mechanisms • Continuously improve delivery velocity and predictability across teams • Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in a remote-first environment Who You Are • Significant experience leading engineering organizations of similar or larger scale • A track record of scaling teams and establishing effective processes during growth phases • Solid experience partnering with Product organizations—keeping projects on track and maintaining strong cross-functional alignment • Strong experience in the developer tooling space (observability experience is a plus) • Deep technical background: You can engage with staff engineers on architecture and technical trade-offs as a peer (our stack includes OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Kubernetes) • Experience with structured delivery practices and the judgment to apply them pragmatically • Excellent communication and the ability to build trust across a distributed, remote team • Based in Europe with the ability to collaborate across European time zones Why You'll Love Working at Dash0 • Competitive salary • Equity participation • Collaborative and supportive team culture This offer from "Dash0" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 77% flex score.
