All Jobs  >  Systems Engineer, Infrastructure and Cloud Services XWELL Apply Systems Engineer, Infrastructure and Cloud Services Fully Remote • Remote Worker - N/A Type Full-time Description    As a Systems Engineer, you will support the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of both on-premises and cloud-based systems across all brands. This is a hands-on role focused on learning and contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern infrastructure technologies. You will work closely with senior team members to support systems architecture, backend changes, monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, resourceful, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities · Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments  · Support Office 365 and Azure Active Directory environments  · Partner with external service providers to support and maintain internal infrastructure, including network circuits, end-user devices, POS equipment, printers, cameras, and related systems. · Partner with managed service providers to implement cybersecurity solutions and address vulnerabilities  · Help evaluate existing technologies and contribute to improvement initiatives  · Assist in implementing SSO and MFA solutions using Azure Active Directory or similar platforms  · Provide support for Azure environments including deployment and maintenance  · Exposure to AWS infrastructure and services is a plus  · Assist with on-prem to cloud migrations for servers and data  · Support configuration and management of SaaS applications such as Slack and Zoom  · Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing  · Assist in managing MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF  · Collaborate with software development teams to support application hosting and infrastructure needs  · Support daily operations of enterprise systems including Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services  · Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures  · Participate in audits and compliance activities (SOC1/SOC2, SOX, HIPAA/HiTECH, etc.) Requirements    · 1–3+ years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or cloud support roles  · BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred  · Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Azure AD); Azure experience is a plus  · Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus  · Strong willingness to learn and grow technical skills  · Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks  · Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities  · Strong communication and collaboration skills  · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Core Competencies: · Results Driven · Ability to Achieve Measurable Results · Effectively Manage in Ambiguity · Navigate and Embrace Change    This position is primarily remote, with periodic in-office or store location presence required for collaboration, support, and project needs.  Must be based in continental US.
