Part-Time Video Editor (Remote via Parsec) — Vacuum Wars YouTube Channel

Vacuum Wars, an established and fast-growing YouTube review channel specializing in vacuum cleaners and robot vacuums, is looking for a part-time video editor to join our team. https://www.youtube.com/@VacuumWars We produce highly detailed product reviews and comparison videos watched by millions of viewers every year. We currently have a head editor who handles most of our main “A-level” videos, but we’re now looking for an additional editor to take on B-level content — still high-quality, but not necessarily requiring the same polish as our flagship videos. What You’ll Do Edit long-form YouTube review videos in the Vacuum Wars style — fast-paced, clear, and driven by the narration. Work remotely via Parsec, which allows you to log in securely to our local editing computer (required due to large data sets). Navigate and manage large project files (hundreds of GB) stored on our local NAS. Use Adobe Premiere Pro (already installed), or install your preferred editing software on our local system. Learn the Vacuum Wars file structure and workflow through our provided tutorial videos and potential hands-on guidance from our head editor. Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent quality, pacing, and tone across all Vacuum Wars videos. Requirements Strong experience in video editing (YouTube product review experience is a plus). Some familiarity with Parsec or willingness to learn it. Experience working with large file projects and organized file systems. Ability to match an existing editing style and pacing. Reliability, good communication, and attention to detail. Hours & Pay Minimum 15 hours per week, with the potential for more based on skill and availability. Flexible scheduling. Pay: Please suggest your hourly rate (amount listed is a placeholder).
