Job title: PMC Freelance Photo Editor Company: Penske Job description: PMC is looking for Freelance Photo Editors for its growing team who can work the mid – shift hours: 12pm -9pm PST with flexibility for events coverage on weekend, nights The PMC Freelance Photo Editor will support PMC brand staff and freelance photographers on deadline from 3^rd party events and PMC events, both remotely and onsite, making pictures available in real time to our internal teams and for licensing thru our agency. PMC is a fast-paced environment focused on breaking news, so the candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality. Must be very adept in Photoshop, image editing, and captioning, and able to handle deadline pressure. Responsibilities: Edit, photoshop and caption a high volume of images in real time, both onsite and remotely Maintaining visual standards set by PMC photo directors and events teams Delivering assets to brands, sponsors, and licensing partners Staying up to speed on latest editorial and entertainment news Requirements: Skilled in Photoshop and Photo Mechanic or similar platform An understanding of photo operations including tethering, networking and FTP workflows Self-motivated, organized, passionate and a great multi-tasker Creative eye, creative problem solver Mid – shift hours: 12pm -9pm PST with flexibility for events coverage on weekend, nights Desired Qualifications: 2 years related experience in digital photo work in a fast-paced deadline environment Ability to react quickly to a changing environment It’s all About You… At PMC, your wellness is top of mind.
