senior accountant, Global Lease Accounting (Remote - U.S.)

About the position Responsibilities • Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting principles. • Reconcile accounts or review account reconciliations prepared by others. • Maintain and develop various accounting systems and processes, recommending and implementing improvements. • Support month and quarter end close by performing trend and variance analysis. • Assist in quarterly earnings and ongoing budget and forecasting processes, producing ad-hoc reporting and analysis. • Research new or existing accounting guidance for business transactions and prepare or review accounting memos. • Train and coach team members, facilitating cross-training and tracking day-to-day tasks. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting, and analysis. • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Experience using an ERP system and business intelligence and reporting tools (such as Hyperion and Oracle) preferred. • CPA desired but not required. • Public accounting experience is a plus.
