RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities within State and Local Government agencies, consistently exceeding sales targets. ? Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across various State and Local Government agencies to understand their needs and position solutions effectively. ? Develop a deep understanding of the political, regulatory, and budgetary processes within State and Local Government, including procurement procedures and funding cycles. ? Act as a trusted advisor to government agencies, conducting needs analyses and presenting compelling solutions that address their specific challenges. ? Skillfully manage complex sales cycles, navigating procurement hurdles and collaborating with partners to ensure successful deal closure. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? 5+ years of full-cycle sales or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on cloud solutions, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS. ? Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level within State and Local Government organizations. ? Extensive network of key decision-makers in the State and Local Government sector and established relationships with relevant technology partners. ? Deep understanding of how State and Local Government organizations identify, evaluate, procure, and implement new technology solutions. ? Demonstrated track record of generating and expanding significant revenue within State and Local Government accounts ($3M+ ARR). ? Experience managing complex sales processes with a solution-oriented approach. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: ? This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $315,000 - $350,000. The estimated base salary for this role is $157,500 - $175,000. ? Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake?s equity plan. The successful candidate?s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
