Position: ANALYST I Job Overview Franchise Tax Board – Litigation Support Analyst I (JC-507077) Salary: $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month. The successful candidate will: • Track subpoena requests and litigation matters. • Analyze legal documents for proper handling and summarize/organize data. • Communicate directly with the public, prepare correspondence, and calculate and calendar civil‑procedure due dates and response dates. • Maintain files, including work in FTB’s Case Management system. • Perform other administrative tasks as required. • See attached Duty Statements for additional details. Working Conditions • This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. A minimum in‑office requirement of two days per week applies. • This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship. Desirable Qualifications • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing. • Handle confidential information responsibly. • Apply reasoning logically and creatively. • Highly organized work and information management. • Work independently and as part of a team. • Strong interpersonal skills with good judgment and diplomacy. • Understand legal practice and discovery tools such as subpoenas. • Maintain knowledge of FTB systems (Taxpayer Folder, Case Management, Taxpayer Information). • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
