What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Organize and input patient demographic information, schedules, and charges into the appropriate system
? Monitor and correct errors in the practice management system
? Verify the accuracy and completeness of demographic information and charges
? Reconcile charges received to patient logs
? Communicate with facilities and clinics to obtain necessary information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High school diploma or GED
? Minimum of 3 years' experience with insurance billing requirements and account follow-up procedures
? General understanding of ICD9 and CPT coding
? Proficient in practice management systems and general computer applications
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing processes
? Previous experience in a similar healthcare administrative role
? Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
