**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our membership development and engagement team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, processing membership applications and renewals, and developing strategies to recruit new members. **Responsibilities**
* Communication Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering/solutions to members, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and managing member communications.
* Processing membership applications, renewals, and cancellations.
* Ensure that data about our members is accurate and up to date, using Salesforce CRM.
* Assist with member communication activities, including calls, emails, and Zoom calls.
* Collect data, track membership statistics, report on key metrics, and prepare reports.
* Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members.
* Coordinate with the finance department to track membership revenue and update reports.
* Prepare membership marketing materials.
* Coordinate current member service programs, including relationship building, onboarding, and engagement.
* Actively participate in crafting membership development strategy, including networking.
* Event Support: Assist programming staff at onsite and virtual membership-related events, including supporting marketing and membership materials and fielding member inquiries.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics**
* Bachelor's Degree with at least two years related work experience in membership, with preference given to those with association and/or nonprofit experience.
* Excellent customer service skills and solutions-based attitude.
* Experience working cross-functionally in teams.
* Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and membership/databases highly desired.
* Experience with Cvent, Canva, Sprout Social, and Salesforce preferred.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally.
