As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a remote basis, working a 3rd shift schedule from 11pm to 7am. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions or concerns. You'll also be responsible for analyzing, appraising, and verifying loan applicants, originating loans, and answering customer inquiries. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with their loan applications and other inquiries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including customer interactions and loan details * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively to customers, listening to and understanding their information and ideas as presented verbally * Maintaining a professional manner when speaking to customers, showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy * Following written and/or verbal instructions from management and adhering to company policies and procedures * Processing card payments accurately and efficiently * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and making recommendations to management * Following up with customers to clarify important points and finalize loan details * Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services, including new products and policies * Creating and renewing records, including customer files and loan documentation * Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt quickly to changing company needs * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management **Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support to our clients * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, navigating tense situations with ease * Proficient use of technology, including computers, software applications, and phone systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork **Preferred Education and/or Experience** While a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, we prefer candidates with: * Previous customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution or related field * Technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and cloud-based storage * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility **Technical Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need to be proficient in: * MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Cloud-based storage and software applications * Internet and online research * Phone systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software **Working Conditions / Physical Demands** As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be working from home, with the following physical demands: * Ability to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly * Sitting for extended periods of time, with regular breaks to stretch and move around * Working a 3rd shift schedule from 11pm to 7am, with flexibility to adapt to changing company needs **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
