General English Faculty (Competitive Exams) - Part-Time Faculty

This is a remote position. Power Within Psychology is inviting applications for the position of Part-Time Faculty in General English to support students preparing for competitive examinations such as UGC NET, GATE, CTET and ADCGC Exams. The role involves teaching General English components relevant to Psychology entrance examinations, with a focus on building conceptual clarity, comprehension skills, and exam-oriented preparation strategies. The faculty member will contribute to enhancing students’ performance in areas such as reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and verbal reasoning within an applied academic context. Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality lectures on General English topics relevant to competitive exams - Teach areas such as: - Reading Comprehension - Vocabulary and Usage - Grammar and Sentence Correction - Verbal Ability and Reasoning - Align teaching with the requirements of Psychology entrance examinations - Design and deliver practice questions, assignments, and mini-tests - Provide exam-oriented strategies and techniques to improve accuracy and speed - Address student doubts and support their learning process - Collaborate with the academic team for content alignment and improvement Requirements Educational Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English / Linguistics / Humanities - Additional qualifications in teaching or competitive exam preparation will be preferred Skills and Competencies - Strong command over English language and grammar. - Ability to simplify complex concepts for competitive exam aspirants. - Good teaching and presentation skills. - Understanding of English part covered in Competitive Exams. - Ability to engage students in both offline and/or online modes. Experience - Prior teaching experience in competitive exam English preferred. - Experience in coaching institutes will be an added advantage. - Freshers with strong conceptual command and teaching aptitude may also apply.
