What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Communicate with patients/clients and referral sources to address questions and concerns in a timely manner
• Process all patient information and paperwork for durable medical equipment and respiratory products
• Maintain accurate records, including updating the respiratory grid and managing referral logs
• Verify insurance coverage information for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance
• Provide technical assistance to customers and assist with retail/walk-in equipment requests

What is Required (Qualifications):
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver?s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
• Background investigation and drug screening (when applicable)
• Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience with medical equipment
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and reimbursement
• One year of related work experience in the medical field
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience in administrative record management
