About the Role

In this role, you will support patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists by addressing prescription-related inquiries and ensuring accurate and timely service. This position combines your pharmacy expertise with exceptional customer service skills, all from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
- Assist with prescription processing, including refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications.
- Resolve issues related to medication orders, dosage instructions, and delivery timelines.
- Utilize pharmacy software to accurately manage patient records and prescription details.
- Adhere to federal and state regulations regarding the handling of prescription medications.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active and valid Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, terminology, and medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a remote work environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a pharmacy technician or clinical customer care role.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and insurance processes.
