Position
Summary
This is a great opportunity to join our prescription entry team while working from home. As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into our system. You will be essential to ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner, directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification, and entering complete prescription information once clarification is received.
You will be expected to meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team. Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help enter patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. To help support development and maximize workflow, you may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.

The position is a work from home with training to be completed virtually.
Colleagues who live within 75 miles or 1 hour, whichever is less, to the onsite facility may be required to come onsite for training, meetings, system issues, or power/internet outages.
Hours vary per state operating hours, shifts are Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays (subject to change). Overtime/extended work weeks will be required when needed.

Required Qualifications
Candidate must reside in the state of Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas. Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides:
• Florida, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Texas require an active state technician license.
• Arizona requires an active state technician license AND national certification.
• Illinois requires an active state technician license AND national certification. State licensing must include “certified” on certificate.
• Minimum of 3 months related pharmacy technician experience.
• Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (i.e., desk, chair).
• Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
• Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum speed of 25 mbps download and 3 mbps upload. Wi‑Fi and satellite are not permitted.
• Data Entry experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Has an active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience.
• Rapid keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures.
• Able to understand and interpret Latin symbols commonly used on prescriptions medications and able to write routing correspondence.
