SAP Project Manager - Change & Training Focus needed for a 1+ Year Contract (Hybrid - 20% Travel throughout US and to Client HQ in Piscataway, NJ)!
Role Overview
The SAP Project Manager (Change & Training) leads SAP projects with a primary focus on organizational change management (OCM) and end-user training. This role ensures successful adoption of SAP solutions by executing change strategies, communication plans, and training programs that align with project objectives and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultant will need to travel 20% of the time to the client HQ in Piscataway, NJ and locations throughout the US.
Change Management
• Develop and implement change management strategies to support SAP project adoption.
Conduct and review Impact Assessments and Stakeholder Analysis to identify readiness gaps.
• Create and manage communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor change effectiveness and adjust strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
Training & Enablement
• Review and refine the project's Training Strategy.
• Partner with Training and OCM Leads to track and report on training development progress, completion rates, and effectiveness using KPIs and feedback loops.
Project Leadership
• Manage SAP project scope, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on adoption success.
• Collaborate with functional leads, HR, and business units to ensure training aligns with process changes.
• Maintain governance and compliance with organizational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for change and training initiatives within the project.
• Provide regular updates to executive sponsors and key stakeholders on readiness, adoption progress, and training outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years SAP experience, including exposure to OCM and training delivery.
• Proven ability to manage change management efforts in ERP project implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and business process integration.
• Familiarity with training tools (SAP Enable Now, LMS platforms).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prosci or similar Change Management certification preferred.
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience applying adult learning principles and instructional design in training delivery.
• Ability to manage training rollouts across multiple regions and cultures.
• Consulting background or experience in professional services.
