Set-up and Location: WFH / Remote (Philippines) Work Schedule: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM AET Employment Type: Full-time This is a full-ownership role — no developer support available — so you must be confident executing technical fixes, writing optimised content, and managing the entire SEO lifecycle independently. The Right Fit You're a proactive, self-sufficient SEO practitioner who stays ahead of Google updates and AI search trends. You understand that regional Australian SEO requires nuanced localisation (small towns, multi-state targeting). You write clean, intent-aligned copy, communicate strategy clearly to account managers, and take pride in delivering tangible traffic and ranking improvements. Key Responsibilities Technical & On-Page SEO Perform full technical SEO audits: site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, internal linking, mobile optimisation Implement technical fixes independently (HTML/CSS familiarity required; no dev support) Optimise on-page elements: meta titles/descriptions, headers, keyword placement, URL structure Apply basic on-page SEO setup at every launch (speed, metadata, structure) Content & Local SEO Write or optimise blog posts, landing pages, and service pages aligned to search intent Execute local SEO strategies for regional Australian markets (small towns across multiple states) Manage e-commerce SEO alongside standard organic campaigns (Shopify/WordPress experience preferred) Reporting & Strategy Track keyword rankings (primary/secondary) and prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights Stay current with Google algorithm updates and AI search developments (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews) Requirements - 3+ years of dedicated, continuous SEO practice (agency or multi-client experience preferred) - Proficiency in SEMrush and Ahrefs (required) - Strong technical SEO skills: HTML, CSS, website structure, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) - Proven ability to write and optimise SEO content independently - Experience with local SEO for regional/non-metro Australian markets - Clear, professional English communication — written and verbal - Self-sufficient executor: owns research → execution → reporting without hand-holdin Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics - Understanding of AI-powered search features and emerging SEO technologies - Agency background managing multiple SMB client accounts simultaneously Systems & Tools - Must-Have: SEMrush, Ahrefs Screming frog, WordPress, Shopify (preferred) - Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, Zoom/Teams for remote collaboration Benefits - HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you + 1 free dependent from day one - Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves convertible to cash on anniversary) - Employee Engagement: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building & more - Work on diverse, high-impact projects for respected Australian SMB clients - Professional development support: certifications, tool training, and upskilling opportunities Hiring Process - Application Review – Resume + certification/portfolio check - TA Interview – 30 mins: technical assessment, scenario questions, cultural fit - Client Interview – 30 mins with Account Manager/Creative Lead: portfolio deep-dive, workflow approach - Feedback and decisions are typically provided within 24 hours post-client interview. - Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 24–48 hours of application. - Unsuccessful applicants will be kept in our talent pool for future opportunities.
